About Ken Boddie

Ken is an enthusiastic photographer, rarely leisure-travelling without his Canon, and loves to interact with other like-minded photographers and people with an artistic background.

He recently retired from Douglas Partners Pty Ltd (DP), after a 50 year career with various consultants in engineering. His latter time at DP, as National Quality Assurance Manager, was spent reviewing systems, manuals and procedures, and implementing change, in discussion with other senior staff. He also provided grey-haired mentoring to younger and less experienced staff, including technical peer review of their submissions and occasional guidance for their career path decisions and choices.

Ken is currently volunteering under Australia’s Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP), tutoring adult migrants who have English as a second language. He also assists in the classroom at TAFE Queensland, under the AMEP system.

Ken's retirement from engineering allows him to follow his photography interests more extensively, and to plan trips to an ever increasing list of countries and places of scenic beauty and cultural diversity.
